Our Team

Danny Diaz

Daniel D. Diaz is the Executive Director of The ACE Foundation; an organization whose mission is to promote high quality public education by supporting charter school initiatives.

Mr. Diaz is also the Director of Community Relations and Special Projects for Academica one of the nation’s largest and most successful educational service and support organizations. Academica serves more than 150 charter schools in Florida, Washington D.C., California, Utah, Nevada, Colorado and Texas. He also served for five years as a Board Member and Treasure of Somerset Academy Charter School.

Prior to joining Academica Daniel was in banking for eleven years. His last position in banking was as Market Manager for TotalBank in South Florida managing a team of commercial lenders and network of branches. Before then Mr. Diaz worked for ADP for nine years. His last position was as Director of Sales managing a sales team in South Florida.

Daniel earned his Bachelors Degree in Marketing and International Business from Floirda International University in 1994 and his Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Miami in 2000.

Sen. Anitere Flores

Sen. Anitere Flores, is the Development Director the ACE Foundation, and is dedicated to raising funds for students and schools in need.

 

As a member of the Florida Senate, Sen. Flores has championed several issues important to South Florida, including working towards finding affordable options for property insurance.

 

Senator Flores also serves on various national and community boards. She is a member of the National Assessment Governing Board (a bipartisan board that sets policy for the National Assessment of Educational Progress-NAEP), the National Association of Latino Elected Officials (a leadership organization of the Hispanic elected and appointed public officials in the United States), and the Board of Spectrum Programs, Inc. (a drug and mental health service organization).
